How Sightis collects, uses and protects the personal data you give us on this site.
Sightis is a société par actions simplifiée (SAS) with a share capital of EUR 2,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number Paris 994 441 814, with its registered office at 1 rue de Stockholm, 75008 Paris, France. We also operate an office in Barcelona (613 Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 08007 Barcelona, Spain).
Sightis is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We have not appointed a data protection officer; for any question about your data, write to contact@sightis.com.
This policy applies to sightis.com and to the forms it carries. It does not apply to the data we process on behalf of clients in the course of an engagement, which is governed by the contract for that engagement.
We collect personal data only when you give it to us through one of the entry points below. Browsing the site, including the Insights pages, requires no account and collects no personal data beyond the technical logs described in section 7.
Name, organisation, business email address and the message you write. We use them to answer your request and, where you ask us to, to prepare a conversation with a partner. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries.
Name, email address, the CV and any covering note you attach, and the position you apply for. We use them to assess your application and to contact you about it. Before we read anything, we send you a confirmation link: an application that is not confirmed within 48 hours is deleted, together with the file. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract, and your consent for the retention periods described below.
Email address. We use it to send you our published insights and nothing else. Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the link in every message or by writing to us.
Some documents are sent by email rather than downloaded directly: we collect your email address to send you the link. We may then contact you about the subject of the document. Legal basis: your consent for the sending, and our legitimate interest in following up a professional interest you expressed.
The periods below are set in the technical contract that runs the site, and the site enforces them automatically.

Data that we must keep to meet a legal obligation, or to establish or defend a legal claim, is kept for the period that obligation or claim requires, and for nothing else.
Your data is read by the Sightis partners and staff who need it to answer you, assess your application or send you what you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it or share it for advertising.
Two providers process it on our behalf, under contracts that bind them to our instructions:
No other third party receives your data, except where the law requires it.
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Forms are protected against automated submission. Files you send us are stored with restricted access and expiring links, not attached to emails. Access to your data inside Sightis is limited to the people named above, and the retention periods are enforced by the site rather than by hand.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act you may, at any time:

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no audience measurement. There is nothing to consent to, which is why no banner appears.
Two technical mechanisms exist, both exempt from consent because the site cannot work without them:

This policy is dated 19 September 2026. We update it when the site or our processing changes, and the date changes with it. The current version is always at this address.
